Emma Lea Hasselbach (they/she) is a theatre artist who works as a director, writer, sound designer, and educator.
They have collaborated at the Brick, Everyday Inferno, Rebel Playhouse, Built for Collapse, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYU Grad School of Acting, The Neighborhood Theatre Project, Seattle Rep, Seattle Children’s Theatre and more.
She is an Iris Marion Young Scholar and studies and writes in philosophy in addition to her work in the theatre. She graduated with honors from Fordham College at Lincoln Center where she studied theatre and philosophy. Emma currently works as a teaching artist with Childs Play NY and Trinity Church teaching music and theatre.
